Amazing place - lovely and very comfortable, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. They speak decent English, but also have good systems set up with WhatsApp and Google Translate and nothing is too much trouble. The onsen are beautiful and the food in the restaurant is just delicious.

Featuring 10 uniquely designed hot spring baths, Shosenkaku Kagetsu provides Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. The property was very clean and staff were very helpful. We were in a newly decorated room. It was lovely - beautiful, comfortable and large.

Conveniently situated in the Akakura Onsen district of Myoko, Adamo Akakura is situated 36 km from Nagano Station, 44 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park and 46 km from Suzaka City Zoo. It's brand new and the location is great, the staff are amazing and the quilts were the best ever. Big thanks the Grace, Oscar, Noah, Charlie, Lucy and the rest of the staff.

Located within 29 km of Zenkoji Temple and 31 km of Nagano Station, SLEEEP JP Myoko provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Myoko. Staff were super friendly. Really grateful for the experience at SLEEEP JP Myoko. The lobby was super cozy and the room was clean with comfortable futon and tatami floorings. Walking distance to the suginohara ski mountain.

Set within 2 km of Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 22 km of Naeba Ski Resort, Guest house SENWA offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Yuzawa. Amazingly friendly staff, Naoto was very accommodating, excellent clean facilities, and comfortable bed. The Ofuro was particularly good. Will definately be staying again.

36 km from Niigata Station in Gosen, 一水荘 provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and public bath. Beautiful and relaxing place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable with a fun retro feel and the food was exceptional.

Koshi no yado Takashimaya provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 35 km of Niigata Station and 4.1 km of Yahiko Shrine. Historically registered traditional ryokan. Authentically crafted and designed buildings, beautifully decorated interior spaces, comfortable tatami guest room (we stayed in the Hiiragi room with private open-air onsen cedar bath), and peaceful surrounding garden.
