Loved this hotel as a getaway from Tokyo (2hrs by train) for me and my partner! The family room had a stunning view over the river, it was quiet and peaceful, the food was delicious, and the private onsen was amazing! Our hosts were kind, and they also drove us back to the station on a mini-bus.

The building is wonderful, the staff so friendly, from being picked up at Hanno station (30 minute drive) to the receptionists and the servers, everyone is so attentive and respectful and nice. Free beer in the lounge is a winner. The baths while not huge are clean and hot, just as I love it. The food is exquisitely good. I would highly recommend Taishikaku

It was out of our expectation but yeah get the breakfast if you haven't so! I also did not expect the hotel to have an onsen but it did! It is clean and a good size. Water temp is so comfortable. Location is great as it is just a short 6mins walk near to the station but not at the busy streets.

Situated within 17 km of Saitama Super Arena and 23 km of JGSDF Public Information Center, Super Hotel Saitama Kawagoe features rooms in Kawagoe. Super Hotel is my favorite now. Excellent breakfast, hot springs, free alcohol…it’s amazing. Clerk even gave me a towel to wipe my bike.

Situated just 7.9 km from Hisaizu Shrine, OSO Homestay features accommodation in Koshigaya with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. My room was incredibly comfortable, and I had a very pleasant stay at OSO. The owner of the property, Mr. Shigeru was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He gave me many good tips for sightseeing both nearby and off the Skytree line! This is an amazing property for guests to experience life in a Japanese household. The price of this property is impossible to beat! despite being a shared house my room was private, and the house was generally quiet throughout the day/night. I also enjoyed talking with other guests. There is a common room where guests can relax and converse. Finally, the location--Sengendai is a quiet area which could be considered either a positive or negative depending on who you ask. But the accessibility via rapid lines south to Tokyo make it a very convenient station for those who wish to travel to the city. There are bikes available for rent at the property which make exploring the area quite easy!
