Located in Nikko, 18 km from Tobu Nikko Station, K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and my only regret is not staying longer. Quiet, peaceful, gorgeous scenery, large common room, big fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable, the room was cozy and had enough space for packing. Highly recommend it. Station is at a walkable distance.

1.3 km from Tobu Nikko Station in Nikko, Rakuten STAY VILLA Nikko features accommodation with access to a sauna and hot spring bath. The Facility was very clean and had the perfect amount of space for our group. The rooms and amenities were just right for the season and time of year.

Located in Nikko, 800 metres from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Nishimachi Club provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The Nikko Nishimachi Club a la touto is located within a short walking distance to 4 area Temples/Shrines. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

Located in Nikko, 2.8 km from Tobu Nikko Station, Gableview Forest Inn ゲーブルビュー features accommodation with a hot spring bath, a public bath and an open-air bath. Beautiful decor, nestled in the forest with a homely and comfortable feel and very hospitable hosts.

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in from extremely friendly and responsive staff to facilities. Everything is perfect

Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 42 km of Shirakawa Station and 43 km of Komine Castle. very large comfortable rooms with excellent river views, delicious meals, beautiful location and garden....plus..full sakura bloom during our 3 night stay!

Located in Nasu, 27 km from Shirakawa Station, Jizaiso provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a steam room. The Japanese style breakfast/dinner is full and taste good! Also, there is some screens setup among different guests in the dinning room, so we have privacy when having breakfast and dinner.

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. We had a lovely room with a view of the river and cozy futons. The onsen were excellent, especially the private ones, and we enjoyed the Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We really loved our stay and would definitely like to come again.

About a 20-minute walk from the Nikko shrines, Annex Turtle Hotori-An is situated next to the Daiya river and green forests. It features hot spring baths with river views. The owner greeted us with such helpful information. Onsen is exceptional - I was nervous about getting access but it was never a problem. Breakfast is great and very filling! Location is wonderful - right next to the Ganman-ga-fuchi abyss. Very peaceful, short walk to restaurants.

COCO VILLA 那須白河 Nasushirakawa is a recently renovated holiday home in Nasu, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. 10/10. Sauna was really good. Local navigation app needed for entering the local area from the main road entry. Overall highly recommended
