We were asked at our previous hotel why we wanted to go to Gänserndorf, and the place itself is admittedly not very interesting, but the pension is fine, and the host was very friendly. We were on a bicycle holiday, and were offered free soda water when we arrived on a very hot day. Bicycles could be parked in the surveilled parking area. Luckily it did not rain, since there was no roof over the parking. Rooms were clean and quiet, facing away from the street, and had aircon (a must in the weather we had). The host brought us to his restaurant although it was in walking distance.

Among the various facilities of this property are a restaurant, a fitness centre, two tennis courts and a sauna. The restaurant offers austrian and international cuisine.
