Loved our one night stay here. We were cycling down off Simplin Pass and when we arrived cold and almost dark, the hosts were so welcoming and lovely. They looked after our bikes, it was a great room. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. Would totally recommend.

A quick 15 minutes drive will take you to Domoddossola which is picture perfect. In regards to the house, it is just ideal, stone floors, several types of heating systems so you never get cold, comfy living room and a gorgeous bedroom with a double and 2 single beds. Wooden ceilings and even a little door to a balcony. Views from every aspect are snowy mountains, woodland, waterfalls and nature. Be aware however, it's quite a climb to get to the door...

Totally special location with Mauro as a great host. He lovingly takes care of his guests, communicated in several languages via Whattsapp, organized the arrival, booked a table in the restaurant, admired our convertible and offered a great breakfast. The house is totally original. There is a small shop in the garden. The place is literally at the end of the world with a crazy approach with hundreds of curves - that was really exciting. Out of season San Domenico was absolutely deserted. That's exactly what we were looking for - peace and quiet.
