Great Location, calm area, 2 mins distance to bus stand, grocery store. View of the mountains from balcony was wonderful. To reach the place, most efficient way is to get the Bus No. 105 from Interlaken West station & drop at Matten b. I. Gsteigstrasse, it is a 1 min walk or you may take Bus No. 104 from Interlaken OST station & drop at Matten b. I., Mattenstrasse then 1 min walk (follow the google map). Very comfortable beds and maximum 6 people can accommodate comfortably. The only problem is that it have only 1 bathing area (with WC) & 1 separate WC which is a bit issue (those who preferred bathing in the morning). However all other amenities are exceptionally good. You get a full fledged kitchen. Our stay was WONDERFUL!!!

i really love the place.. very cozy and clean, everything provided by the host. Also the plus point is very near from public transportation, minimarket, many restaurant but still located in a calm and quite village, i enjoy walking around the place to see the environment. This place is also family friendly, with large space comfort for everyone. The kitchen and utensils are complete if we want to cook. Very kind and fast respond owner. Definitely will book this place again if we visit Interlaken again!

I didn't have much of an expectation but the place was actually really good. Great quality, hygiene and host. There's a kitchen too which we found handy since the food outside is reallly quite expensive so for a few meals it helped to have a kitchen. The people were great too. Great traveller vibe. I thought that if we've to share the room with people, it might be bad. But actually, in my room, there were only 4 beds, and there were two of us. So only had to share with one guy (the other bed was unoccupied) and he was a cheerful chap! There's also a couple of great outdoor spaces
