The location of the property was idyllic. It’s a good place to recharge your battery and feel like you’re visiting your Swiss family’s hotel. The hotel felt cozy from the very beginning. It is not very modern but it’s warm and very well maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful and speaking English. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. In the region there are some hikes you can do and a view point. Many people are actually living there so it’s really quiet and pretty.

Maggy is a wonderful person and always making sure you are comfortable. I love the breakfast and the care in the morning. The accommodation feels just like home which is the reason I stayed there a few times already when in town for business. Recommended!

A very handy location in a small village with off-street parking. If traveling by train the hosts will provide transportation as needed. A comfortable compact space with outdoor space. Centrally located to Lucerne with a 11/2 hour trip by road to Interlaken and virtually anywhere else in Switzerland. Just 2 hours to the Italian border!. The hosts were hospitable and provided any assistance we required. The kitchen was useful with microwave and fridge and easy access to supermarket partisserie and restaurants a short walk away.

Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They gave up their private parking spot to us to better suit the needs of my elderly mother with limited mobility. She uses a walker and there were 17 stairs to the entrance. Their private spot had a ramp that was accessible to the entrance. They also had some coffee, juices, water, chocolates, and bread with jam available. Was roomy and very comfortable for our group. Informative and knowledgeable of the area and local community. Very grateful that we found this hidden gem.
