Matavera

We loved the location of Crown Beach - it is on the west part of the island, right on the beach with beautiful sunsets. Nice beach well looked after beach. Outside the hotel is the bus stop for easy commute, close to lovely restaurants (in other resorts). The villa with private pool was amazing - very spacious and beautifully designed, high ceelings, plenty of room in a bathroom (has a bath tub and separate shower, toilet is also separated, which was very convinient). Bathroom amenities, sleepers and bath robes were a huge plus. Super comportable and huge bed with good pillows (hard mattress we loved!). Many people stated that resort is run down and needs renovations. Obviously the place is not brand new, but i can not say that it is so bad as in many reviews. Staff is maintaining place well in my opinion. Our villa #27 was renovated and looked fresh, no complains here, everything is clean and tidy. Also, we loved coctails in the bar, was super-delicious! 1.5 litre jug fo 30 dollars was something out of thus world! Staff is very nice and helpfull and ready to assist if you need anything. Overall it was a good stay!
