Hotels with Parking in Akwa

Very calm peaceful place to be.

The location is great and the pool is nice

The quality of the building is low grade, minimal comfort, badly designed bathrooms that are tiny with the sink just hanging over the toilet and a very leaky untidy and smelly showers in both tools. The pillows on the beds are too hard and the sitting room is about the best place in the whole apartment. The Young Lady at the réception was very kind and person able, though.

I loved the staff. They were polite and welcoming.

My stay at Bano Palace was a full week and was filled with the professional staff and kind gestures of the hotel as a whole. The room assigned to me at arrival was clean and modern with all of the accoutrements you would hope for. Except a window. As my stay was going to be extended I requested a change of room so that I could have access to natural light and the air outside. The manager (Aristide) quickly found a new room for me, complete with a balcony and a seating area (couch and chair). Not yet modernized the room was still very comfortable. Housekeeping (Rose) was extremely polite and took perfect care of the room every day. The food in Bano Palace is delivered still hot when ordered through room service, with everything in order. The breakfast buffet is also delicious although for my own tastes I could do with an alternative choice to fish on so many days. Maybe offer two choices on those days? Daniel(food and beverage manager) was very helpful and was able to connect me with local vendors for some reasonable shopping. I have hopes to return to Douala later in 2025 and will certainly book my stay at Bano Palace.

Traditional in the best way, yet modern fixtures and appears newly renovated — staff are so genuinely kind…across the board from reception to security to the room service and cleaning staff. The shower is marvelous! The gym is well-equipped and the pool offers a wondrous refuge from wherever you might have traveled to reach here. In spite of being situated right on the main road, the corridors and rooms are absolutely quiet. Certainly a bit pricey, however well worth it in every respect.

Great location and customer service

Perfect location to have good view of Douala Clean and the staff are great

Free airport transfer. Friendly staff helped me to call when there was no electricity.

Wonderful place to stay, welcoming staff and great service!

Very good location just by the road and comfy surrounding and facilities. The breakfast buffet is a welcome for foodies with a large variety of things on the menu. The staff is respectful and kind.
