Very clean and comfortable self contained room. Communal kitchen which is a bonus. Very friendly hosts. About a mile to Rio Laguna, where you can rent kayaks or paddle boards. Hostel Orozco rents kyaks as well at a much better price than down by the laguna. We booked for one night but stayed a second night. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Yorleny was an amazing host. She was very responsive and proactive when we requested something. The location couldn’t be better. It’s a quick drive to Paraíso Manantiales, Blue Falls and Catarata del Toro. The price was the best we found around the area and the cabin exceeded our expectations. You will have your own small private cabin with your private bathroom and the best views of Bajos del Toro. The place looks much better in person than on the pictures. You can arrange breakfast with Yorleny and it’s so yummy! It was $5 USD per person which was a great price. The family has a beautiful and affectionate dog which we loved! If we come back to Costa Rica will stay again here!

We absolutely loved the property!! It was amazing . I have 0 complaints. The hosts were so nice and we got an amazing meal for dinner upon arrival. I would recommend eating at their restaurant if you visit. The waterfalls on the property were beautiful and private and the bridge is like a fairy tail.

The Epic Adventure Lodge is a Pearl and an excellent stop between San Jose and La Fortuna. You’re immersed in nature, can do a nice walk towards a close by river and relax in the pool or rancho. The breakfast is prepared freshly and you see a lot of visitors for breakfast incl birds and some cute rodents. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it.
