The property was nicely located close to the middle of town. When first coming into the hotel one is met with an interesting display of antique furniture and cabinets. The hotel had that new nice fresh smell to it which indicated a level of cleanliness. Upon entering the room, it was impeccably clean and spacious and had two rooms inside with great looking furniture. The beds were very comfortable and even though the room was located on the Main Street, there was no noticeable outside noise. The Breakfast was very nice and the dining room was oh so nice!

This was a 3-star hotel in a small country town and it delivered exactly what was promised - an economical room with breakfast. I arrived on the weekend when the front desk was not staffed, which briefly gave me confusion about how to get my key and get into the wifi, but it all worked out and I had a nice stay. I enjoyed a room at the back of the hotel witha view over the garden and town rather than a view onto the busy street.

We were so warmly welcomed during our stay at the Mitten in Saarland. The hosts made us feel comfortable and cared for from the very first day. The place was so clean and well-equipped. We really felt at home in this place. The location may be a bit challenging, however, if you plan with public transport schedules (which are available at the stops), it goes smoothly.

Spacious, clean, private and immaculately presented. Welcoming and helpful host. Large terrace, tranquil views and huge grassed area for children to play in. We would have loved to have stayed longer.
