Host is very kind and speaks English well. We loved Burgui, the village is very friendly and situated in a beautiful area. The hotel is charming and comfortable and has a good continental breakfast. We had dinner at Almadiero one evening and enjoyed very well prepared meals and amazing butterfly clams. We went to nearby tavernas but none as friendly as in Burgui. The town is near the start of the Roncal valley, which is very beautiful and follows a river. We are road bicyclists and the area ideal for biking. What a treat- we would stay again.

Interesting church in village. Dinner was pretty good though didn’t serve what ordered. Had probably run out because big walking group there served first and eating it.
