Very good, down to earth, simple, good value.

Everything was amazing. The location was magical, surrounded by beautiful snow covered forest beside the lake and only 12 min walk from the nearest bus station. Enjoyed BBQ at Lappish BBQ hut. The sauna and shower were spacious and super clean .Milda cooperated in all respects to make our stay so memorable at igloo.

It was perfect place to experience the snow near Rovaniemi. We didnt have a car so we used the local taxi so around €175 for 5 adults with luggages from Rov center then we used the bus going back to Rov around €70 for 5. We were at the big cabin. Bunk beds comfy, a double bed also comfy. Kitchen ok- we bought groceries before we came- no grocery store in Korvala so make sure u bring groceries. Overall adequate. Cabin feels. But aside from the payment for accommodation, you pay for towels/ linens which was add on from your accommodation pay. You will pay when you arrive. Facilities: sauna which u can book and pay Sledding stuff etc are free They have a trail u can walk around Huskies well cared for, great husky experience Komea restaurant good we had dinner once- one meal around €30 so x 5 is a bit pricey but good food Jaana very nice lady. Great responses even way before our trip. She is very nice. Huskie people are very nice too- they love what they do, they love the huskies and you can feel that love they have for the animals We didnt see the northern lights when we stayed Dec 26-30,2025 bec of the clouds. We also did a reindeer farm tour via Unique Reindeer Farm which you will see at Korvala cabin’s site too- it was a great experience so try them too. No reindeer ride but reindeers in their natural state. Pekka is awesome! Overall, I recommend this place

What a great "back-to-basics" experience we've had at Eco Unela. The forest cabin was exactly as described and well-equipped to keep us comfortable. Riitta's hospitality, outdoor BBQ facilities, Finnish sauna and the beautiful environment overall made this stay exceed our expectations. Hope to come back one day
