I was very happy with this hotel. Actually, I thought it was twice as expensive when I booked. It is not fancy nor modern, but the room was extremely clean, and staff very friendly. Really an excellent deal. The location is great, I went for a walk at sunrise, such a charming town.

Château Duras is magnificent. The Gîte is very well equipped with every convenience. Fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard, including a very comfortable bed. There is a private terrace overlooking woodland which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The pool is sublime and completely private, a real treat. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful without being at all intrusive. Sandra kindly arranged a ‘Degustation’ with her neighbouring winemaker which was very enjoyable and she had many suggestions for things to see and do in the region. We highly recommend this piece of paradise.
