The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt very safe as it was behind a security gate. We took a lovely evening walk along the Oise River which is just outside. The property is close to the tourist attractions in Auvers. Nicolas responded to our requests quickly and was very friendly.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. Valerie is a lovely host who took good care of us. The apartment is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and quiet. The terrace and balcony will be an extra bonus with the right weather. The view to the city is amazing, especially in the evening. Our boys loved the Kicker table in the cellar and mentioned a few times how comfortable the sofa bed is. We used the train to get into the city. The train station with parking is about 10 minutes by car and there are different ways to get to the city, either to Gare du Nord, Champ de le Mars or to the Louvre Museum. Depending on the destination it's about 20-50 minutes on the train. It worked perfectly for us and we looked forward to coming back to such a lovely apartment in the evenings. We would love to come again and we have already recommended the accomodation to friends and family.

This charming hotel was in a prime location in the center of the town and directly across from the house and Inn where VanGogh lived and died .The lobby and dining area was decorated with a countryside flare .I had the suite with an absolutely beautiful stunning bathroom with a bathtub and shower .Bathrobes, slippers ,heated towel rack ,lotion,toiletries.Fridge and coffee machine / tea kettle ,sitting area with a small table .

A beautiful home nestled in a forest just a couple of miles from Van Gogh's haunts in Auvers. Home was very comfortable with a spacious bedroom. Catherine and Bertrand were lovely hosts. Catherine got us a reservation at an excellent restaurant and was friendly, while also giving us space. They do have a dog and a couple of cats. For us, this only added to the charm. I should say, I'm allergic to cats but did not have my usual allergic reaction, likely a tribute to the cleanliness of our room and the overall home.
