We had a wonderful stay at La Rebière d'Or, a beautiful manor just next to the peaceful Dordogne river. The place boasts an amazing courtyard with a couple of majestic trees, a small bambus plantation and a good-sized swimming pool. You will love having the opportunity to take a dip in the water during the hot summer days, so this is a big plus. The pictures taken in the garden will guarantee a sizeable increase in your fans on your instagram account. As you can see in the pictures, the rooms are big, each one is different and with impressive furniture and decorations. I was really impressed by the spot-less bathroom, amazing view, silence, magnificent windows with shutters and, in our case, the elephant in the room. The breakfast, French-style, is served in the garden or in one of the 2 saloons. Just lovely. As a bonus, you might meet Opal the cat, very instagramable too. Please be informed that the clients are not allowed to have a picnic in the garden and I think this is the correct decision. Location wise, this is a good base for exploring Bergerac, Issigeac, Periguex and a lot of castles and amazing villages. We also took a canoe trip on the Vezere river, from Les Eyzies to Le Bugue, a fantastic route. For dinner you need to drive about 5-10 minutes to Bergerac or to the nearby The Chateux des Merles, an excellent restaurant. The hosts, the lovely Chaterine and her husband are very helpful with recommendations and they also help with restaurant reservations. Some restaurants are closed Sunday to Tuesday, even in high season, so plan accordingly. Ask the hosts if there are some picnics like events organized in Bergerac or at one of the castles. To summarize: a priceless princess-like experience. Thanks again, Catherine, for the magic days spent at your property!

The property presents well and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to restaurants, bar and a beautiful river that runs for miles where you can walk cycle or run along. The owners are welcoming and are available at any time should you need them.

For people who want to cycle this location is perfect for picking up the via verde of the Dordogne. Mauzac trip is fantastic, with pizza looking out from Bella Ciao.

Fabulous place, top quality accommodation. Had a lovely holiday at CocoBeach. All the facilities you could want. Including its own lake! And boats. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. The owner, Norbert, was very accommodating, seamless change over. Hope to be back

This place carries you to somewhere that is truly unique and  tranquil. The ‘tent’ (in quotes because it is so much more) is 5* camping luxury.  Every need is catered for, every comfort considered.  You are in a tent but divided by wooden walls internally, and with wooden floors.  There’s a proper, decent shower, a fridge freezer, hob, bbq, microwave/grill, coffee machine and coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, blender ... oh and a dishwasher!!! The decking is spacious and comfortable as is the internal living space with proper, comfortable beds and furniture.  Perfect for singles, couples and families and dogs very welcome. The hosts – well what an amazing couple.  They couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating, I feel like I have new bffs!  Nothing is too much trouble, everything is perfect because they really have thought about everything! This really is the perfect spot to unwind and chill, there are wonderful views during the day, the clear skies at night are stunning and other than the sound of the cow bells and the owls the nights are silent.
