We had a wonderful stay in this magical place. From the beautiful and well-kept garden, over the quiet and spacious hotel room, to the excellent full English breakfast and last-minute lunch order - everything was perfect. Bathrooms are shared but with three toilets for 4 rooms, it honestly did not feel as if we had to share. Very, very quiet rooms.

We had a lovely stay at the Shepherd's Hut. The place is nice and snug for two people, comes fully equipped with cookware, a roomy bathroom, and from the terrace you get a gorgeous view of the coast. There is also a firepit in the garden, which is lovely for sitting outside in the evening. At the hut, you are only a short drive away from the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast, including highlights such as Speke's Mill waterfall, Hartland Quay, and the lighthouse at Hartland Point. Anna was an excellent host, who told us everything we needed to know about the accommodation upon arrival and gave us plenty of useful tips about what to do in the vicinity.
