And full of history thanks to Iona O’Brien and her husband, which continues to this day. Plus an abundance of TV channels and fast Internet speeds provided by Ubiquity UnIFi Access Points

Very helpful staff. A lovely atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We ate most nights in the hotel which is something we rarely do.

Great location for polo ground

This place is simply the best. It's heartwarming that places like this still exist. Everyone was so caring and the food is next level. The lamb pie was world class and even the breakfast porridge was simply delicious. The place is beautiful and hundreds of years old. I loved the modesty of the folks; they're excellent, superb, fantastic. I'm so grateful. Beautiful dogs, too!

Delicious cooked breakfast, lovely host. The best night's sleep I have had in a long time. Plus a gorgeous pub very close by.

Quiet and beautiful location in a small village was just what I needed. Had a relaxing time. Garoline was lovely and made sure I had everything needed. Hattie the dog was a welcomed addition to the visit. Garoline even offered me a lift to the station upon leaving. I highly recommend.

A beautiful cottage in an absolutely gorgeous location! The cottage is furnished to a higher quality than you'd expect for a holiday let, and very comfortable. The hosts live next door, were helpful and friendly, but did not intrude. We used it as a base for going to Goodwood, and it was ideal for that, while allowing us to enjoy the peace and serenity of the local villages and woodland paths, with stunning views over the South Downs. The local pub was also absolutely perfect - a 5 min cycle away and very friendly, with great food and a garden overlooking the Downs. Will definitely be back!

We've returned to the Bridge Cottage for another stay as we liked its location close to Midhurst, by a calm and relaxing stream, a cosy bedroom, delicious breakfast lovingly prepared by the friendly and very welcoming owner.

Beautiful house and garden. Perfectly located

Think this is the 5th visit, hopefully there will be more. We usually park the car when we arrive then don’t use it again until we leave. It’s an ideal property for walking. The Weald and Downland Museum is about 2 miles away. All the cottages we have stayed in are cosy and comfortable with facilities for cooking. The owners are discreet but there if needed

Wow! What a luxurious spot. What you see in the photographs is what you will experience... it is stunning. Sarah, the host was incredibly helpful and made our short stay a perfect break.
