The property is super quirky with so much charm. Lots of parking and beautiful grounds.

We stayed at the Angel Inn as a stopover enroute to Whitby - we arrived late on Saturday evening after a long drive and despite being very busy we had a wonderful welcome - quick check-in and taken to the bar to order our food. Our dinner was beautiful - large portions and very tasty. Unfortunately we had a very early departure the next morning so missed breakfast. It is very conveniently located off A1M - excellent value for money and great service from excellent staff. Proper Yorkshire hospitality and we will make sure to stay there next time we are in Yorkshire

As I was travelling alone, the staff were the epitome of Yorkshire friendliness. Accomodation was comfortable, a great ambience. Loves the jigsaw puzzle area which created a natural conversation.

This was an exceptional hotel/ restaurant. I arrived late but they kept the kitchen open for me. I was in the middle of a charity bike ride and they looked after my bike for me so I have didn't have to take it to my room. Food was excellent, service was excellent and my room was excellent.

Lovely hotel in convenient location for Ripon city centre. Immaculate and spacious bedroom overlooking extensive grounds. Helpful and attentive staff and well stocked bar. The breakfast was delicious. Good sized car park. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Was a lovely,clean and spacious house, with everything we needed for our family get together ,felt like home from home, with plenty of room for 8 adults.Would definitely recommend staying here 👍🏻

The welcoming was second to none. They provided a bed for my dog, treats and toys to play with and for me the personal touches did it. A hand writen card, hearts, flowers and dinner as well as breakfast in the fridge with a bottle of prosecco. They covered everything.

Warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was well equipped. Very close proximity to a welcoming, friendly pub with excellent food.

Beautiful house, much bigger than expected! The main bedroom was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The property was very clean and had everything we required. Great location for getting out and about to the many local attractions.

We had the most amazing stay at Moat Cottage. Tom and Shaine couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable in their beautiful cottage.  Coming back to such a cosy base, and being able to light the log burner was such a treat after being out and about during the day.   All the special touches, such as the welcome milk, eggs, butter and bread were so appreciated.  This truly is a gem of a cottage in such a peaceful location, I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Amy and Hugo were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house is absolutely stunning and exudes the beautiful elegance of its time. It was a lovely retreat for those wishing to enjoy this magestic home in an equally beautiful rural location. We will definitely be planning a return trip.
