What a wonderful little slice of heaven. We were traveling with friends so we rented both pods. It was perfection. The pods are so cute and clean. They have everything you would need in them. The views are lovely and the outdoor picnic tables and side decks make it easy for outdoor living. We ate meals at the table and watched the lambs. We met the owners and their two young daughters. We like staying at places where you are supporting young people. This is the place to stay!

Harlosh Hideaways - Aurora Pod. Our 3 night stay the last week of August 2023 was nothing short of spectacular!! The hosts were the best. Shirley & Kevin live on a 300+ year old house on the property. They take great pride in all. From their house to these two ‘pod style’ tiny homes. Everything is immaculate. Shirley has thought of everything. And we know a ‘GREAT’ stay as we are in our 6th year of full time world travelers (yes we are retired). Total Nomads so an amazing stay such as this is very welcomed!! The kitchen is fully stocked to be able to cook entire meals. Just stop at the market on your way and everything is ready to go in a functioning kitchen. Nice kettle and coffee maker with teas and coffee supplied too. And what an amazing goodie basket to greet us! All local tummies to get us hooked on Scottish treats. The bathroom was large with lots of hot water. Soft towels and amazing soaps and lotion. Like spa quality!! And oh the bed! Nice linens and so comfortable. Extra throw blankets too. The unit is heated with floor radiate heat. So cosy. There’s games, books, tv. WiFi is strong. Outdoor seating. Beautiful garden /yard. And the view!! Right out to the loch! Hiking the ‘Old Man of Storr’ is a must. As is seeing all the sights near by and Portree for a ‘town & shopping’ visit. Parking is in the yard. Safe and secure. Easy drive. We rented a car in Edinburgh and very much enjoyed the travels to Harlosh Hideaways. I know you will too!!!

Exceptional in every way. Fantastic hosts, large modern accommodation surrounded by sheep and water. We were so glad our original place in Portree cancelled in us and we were offered this place. Even the treats where brilliant. Close to Dumvegan castle and the fabulous head.

Se trata de una cabaña con todo lo necesario. La cama supercómoda, todo muy limpio y el.anfitrión te deja leche fresca y zumo en la nevera. Abres la puerta y estás enfrentre de un entrante de mar. Muy recomendable. Bien de precio para lo que es alojarse en Skye

Everything about this property was wonderful. It was comfortable and cozy with amazing views. We loved eating breakfast on the porch every morning. The wood stove was very warming. The extra details, like fresh flowers and a wonderful welcome basket, made it perfect. The home was very clean and WiFi worked well. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything! Amazing remote location right on the loch. A great, quiet cottage for exploring the island. It’s newly built and clean and lovely. Stay here!

La ubicación por las vistas desde el porche, la atención de los anfitriones, súper simpáticos!!!, nos dejaron una cesta llena de comida (pan de molde, atún, salsas, mermeladas, mantequilla, galletas, leche, café de cápsulas...). Es un Pod con mucho encanto, pequeñito pero muy acogedor, estuvimos muy a gusto, de los mejores alojamientos de la ruta en Escocia.
