We had such a wonderful stay here. The little house is tucked away in the middle of beautiful open fields, surrounded by grazing sheep, making it the perfect place to relax and switch off. Waking up to the peaceful countryside views each morning was truly special, and the quiet surroundings made it feel like a hidden retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is an ideal place for couples looking for a peaceful, private escape. The atmosphere is incredibly calm, with nothing but nature, fresh air, and the sounds of the countryside. It was exactly what we were hoping for. The house was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. It had a kettle and coffee machine for relaxing mornings, and we especially appreciated the little extras such as washing-up liquid, a sponge, and even laundry detergent—small touches that many places don’t provide but make a real difference when you’re away from home. Everything felt practical, welcoming, and well prepared for guests. The location is excellent for exploring the surrounding area. It’s just a short drive to Lynton and Lynmouth, as well as the stunning Valley of Rocks, where the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. There are also plenty of beautiful walking trails nearby, making it a fantastic base for anyone who enjoys exploring nature and the spectacular North Devon coastline. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. If you’re looking for a cosy countryside getaway with beautiful views, complete peace and quiet, and easy access to some of the area’s most stunning landscapes, this little house is a perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to coming back.
