We don’t even have words to express what a delight it was to spend a night at Newforge house. From the moment we walked in to the moment when we said our goodbyes to John, the owner, we felt as if we were in heaven. Our room was incredibly beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. We booked a meal in the dining room, and it exceeded any of our expectations. Sylvia and Katherine, the staff, were so delightful, and very accommodating. John, the owner, is also the chef, and he served us a first class meal. Honestly, staying at Newforge house has been the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Nice quiet location out in farm country Annie road that was sparsely traveled.. it was very clean and bright. Kate was always available, but did not hover over us. Bus and train services nearby for easy transport to Belfast.

We had a very nice, comfortable and spacious room. We felt good staying in Field view, surrounded by nature and peace. Our host John - you can see that he is a good person with a big heart, he tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible (if needed) and he does everything with a smile and such good energy that is contagious 😁

The room is really nice and the location is excellent, just a short walk to pretty much everywhere in Royal Hillsborough. The staff is super nice. I left my charger there and they carefully kept until I came back to pick it up. 5 stars service and highly recommended!
