Really loved The Crown at Benson & it certainly exceeded our expectations as I don't think the photos online really do it justice as the place is much nicer in the flesh. We were hiking the Thames Path and this was one of the villages on route. The staff & owners are lovely - really warm & welcoming - the rooms were fab and even though the bathroom was small they seemed to make good use of space and for only 1 night, it was fine. Breakfast was very good too - all freshly cooked & good quality ingredients. The owners really care about this small hotel / pub & it certainly shows - thank you!

A lovely home, a short walk to the city centre, very close to a bus stop to go further. Very clean, the hosts are friendly, flexible and happy to help. Note, you are literally staying in someone’s home - their bedroom is in the floor above the two that are rented out. A nice Continental breakfast to start the day, and you have your own key to come and go as you please.

We loved the location, as it was a short walk to the centre of town and local pubs. The hosts Sue and Brendon were amazing. Breakfast was fresh and hit the spot each morning. Our room is lovely and felt right at home.
