Located in a gorgeous little village on the coast with a quaint tearoom and village stores. Perfect for walking the dog on the common. Hotel staff were just lovely, they brought our dog a cooked sausage at breakfast😊

I'm Vegetarian and my hostess Madeleine asked what I would like for breakfast it was served fresh and on time everyday and was delicious. The location was perfect, peaceful and lots of lovely walks, just what I needed. Madeleine made me very welcome and helped me navigate the area to it's best potential. Looking forward to another visit.

The location was very quiet but close enough to surrounding villages. Hosts were very helpful, The studio was comfortable and dog friendly. Lovely stay all round.

The cutest cottage, it was perfect for us - a couple + adult son + dog. Lovely furnishings, comfy beds, good shower and well-equipped kitchen. We had great weather so the enclosed gardens for the dog and outside seating were well used. The quiet lane from the cottage was useful for morning and evening dog walks. The pub 2 doors down (The Fox Inn) is friendly and does fab food. There are lots of lovely walks nearby by car esp Westleton/Dunwich direction.
It was a really peaceful location , with easy access to the Suffolk coast. It was great to have the Fox Inn next door where I went for a meal in the evening.
Lovely, cosy cottage, next to a lovely pub, in a tiny village but near the A12 for other adventures.
Beautiful location - perfect retreat for a few days
It was so quiet and totally off the beaten track. Great for our evening of board games after the day of exploring. Dog loved it too.

The Bell Hotel, Saxmundham
Very friendly staff. The room was cosy and the bed so comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful. Definitely would recommend.
The Butchers Arms Freehouse
I travel all over the UK for work and stay in 100's of hotels but the hospitality shown by the owner and staff was magnificent!! Telephoned them to say I might be late for an evening meal, they said don't worry we'll sort you out. I left before breakfast due to early start so they made me a pack lunch instead NO charge! I'm back down next month and will book again, this will be my go to hotel in future as I'm in the area at least monthly!
Really quiet, very clean, comfortable. Parking and bathrooms are close. Check-in and check-out are easy.
