The location and the lodges are so lovely... peaceful and clean. We loved the woods nearby for walking and the space in the Lodge was vast, so great for our family meet up!! Beautiful sauna and log burner were a bonus.

We stayed here to attend Tiger Day at the nearby tank museum , you would definitely need a car as it is rural, but we knew this so has rented a car. The staff were lovely, very friendly, food was good also. Desserts were our favourite part of the meals. the cheesecakes were divine.

Accommodation was very clean and comfy with all the amenities required. The park itself was one of the best kept i have been too. Durdle Door just a short walk away and we also walked to Lulworth Cove. Stunning coastline.

It was as at home,quiet and clean,free parking. We had lovely dinner at the pub ( 5 min walk).If we will travel by same route, sure, I will choose Ballantrae again

I had the loveliest stay here — the room was so pretty, decorated with the cutest touches that made it feel extra special and cozy. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and incredibly welcoming. The host went above and beyond: from the surprise breakfast hamper (with homemade jam!) to the personalized list of local places and restaurants to explore — every detail was handled with such care. They truly made us feel at home and taken care of. The service was superb, and their kindness made this stay so memorable. It was the perfect end to my girlfriend's graduation trip — such a comforting, beautiful space before heading back home. Can’t recommend it enough!
