The accommodation has just been totally refurbished and we were the first guests to arrive . The hospitality was excellent, the place was immaculate, pool area beautifully laid out with great views . The rooms are brand new and very modern and spacious, we had the triple room and the view was great . Breakfast was served fresh every morning and was continental . The staff went above and beyond so much that we even extended our stay . I would highly recommend this accommodation. You are literally 2 mins drive to the town centre too which has a variety of beautiful restaurants etc .

Lovely apartments that were cleaned daily by the hotel. Outside there is a bar/resturant with great value and tasty food. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, making our stay all the better. Location is very centered in the heart of Malia and if we were to go again this would be the hotel.

I stayed for 1 night as a stopover on the way to another part of Crete, and I can easily imagine staying longer. The accommodation is very comfortable, interiors are moderm and spotlessly clean. Rooms are private, you don't hear your neighbors and balconies are set apart from each other. Mine was facing the garden and it was an absolutely great spot for a morning coffee. The owners also run a supermarket in adjacent property where you can get good coffee, fresh juice and pastries for breakfast. The pool area is relaxing with plenty of loungers, and the pool itself is clean and fairly deep (1.85m), great for a swim. You can also rent beach & pool towels if you don't have your own (room towels are understandably for indoor use only). Great communication with owners prior to arrival, they are very responsive and I received all instructions on time. Parking is very easy - behind the hotel in a secured area (gate), staff will give you directions. On checkout I left my luggage at the stairs and brought the car to the front gate to load the bags, meanwhile they were already waiting for me outside thanks to the attentive owner :) Downtown Malia is a bit noisy but Dimamiel is located away from bars and clubs, yet within a short walking distance, and there is a nice restaurant right across the road (Sofra). Overall this place is a great choice and I'll definitely be back.

very comfy bed, blackout curtains, rooms were spacious with good view. The restaurant had good buffet/events. Parking right in front, very quiet street well above sea level, and beautiful mountainside. I stayed here more than once during my holiday.

I had originally booked a one bedroom to have some separation with me and my friends, however when I arrived I was unsure if my friends would come so they offered me the brand new villa in the backyard with the understanding that my friends may show up at any time so they gave me an extra bed just in case. This Villa was amazing I had my own separate space from the hotel with two patios and views for days not only that but I was Steps from the pool and outside cabana with endless drinks. The staff aka at family was always at my becking call ready to assist in any way they could I had everything I needed the entire time, if I go back I will 100% stay here again even with all the choices in Malia. As far as location it is in the prime area Steps Away From all of the restaurants and nightlife however it stays relatively quiet, it is the perfect place in my opinion

NO KIDS! Absolutely tranquil, lovely property with multiple beautiful pools and a perfect private beach. Doesn't feel like mass tourism, it feels local and we loved the classic stone architecture. There is no bad location on the property; everything is close to a pool or restaurant or beach. From minute one the staff was friendly, welcoming, charming and made our stay amazing. WiFi worked surprisingly well everywhere, even the beach. The spa was an elevated experience with quality services and products, and a beautiful facility with pool, sauna and steam. We loved playing tennis and were grateful for the option (note €10 court fee.) Housekeeping was fast and thoughtful, and generous with bottled water. A lot of staff we encountered provided nice service in both English and German, which impressed us. Our room was newly renovated with marble fixtures, great water pressure and comfortable bed. Nespresso in the room and coffee on the private terrace made mornings magical. The all inclusive aspect is handled elegantly with room numbers not wristbands, and it's always clear what is included.

Staff is polite. The parking lot provides more than enough space and is secure. The water pool is clean. The beach was clean and has nice rock formation. Place is ideal for people appreciating a relax atmosphere and prefer to walk a while. I enjoyed the evening walks worth the sea breeze. The hotel it is maintained recently, and owners try to give to the rooms character. However, the technical staff did a somewhat sloppy job. My feeling is the owners will fix these.

Lovely new hotel, with beautiful deco and furniture. Fabulous breakfast and pool area. Right next to the old town which has up-market taverna's. Supermarket, bakery etc minutes away. Car parking area is large and a minute or two from the hotel. Malia has a great soft sand beach. All the staff were very helpful, so ask for advice on what to do etc. Extremely clean hotel.

The breakfast was good and varied. Wi-Fi works ok. Plenty of space at the free parking lot. Location is within walking distance to restaurants. Beachfront property with sun beds.

Quite and intimate family hotel in the centre of Malia. Walk distance from the main street, supermarket and restaurants. Clean, beautiful with kitchen equipment rooms and the hospitality of the owners is remarkable. Snack bar near the pool with cool/hot and alcoholic drinks and food. Free parking all day long. The pool was great and clean. We will definitely come again.

Very good location, just right near the beach. Breakfast and dinner with the sea view. The room is big and bright. The staff is friendly and willing to help, after check-out they let us use the showers. There is free parking

Location, cleanliness, very attentive hostess Maria. Pool was in nearby hotel, but bonus - free parking provided. Beach nearby in easy walking distance. Daily cleaning, towel and bedding changing when needed. Properly working air conditioner. Overall good value for money.

The staff was super friendly and gave nice suggestions of places to go to. Also got one of the massages there, which are also reasonably priced. Free parking around the corner. Especially nice owner. Also got a free bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Couldn't have been better!
