The location was outstanding, beautiful, quiet, remote, just a short walk from a spectacular semi-private beach. It was a close drive to places to eat and supermarkets. The villa was one of the best we've ever stayed at in Greece. The host was fantastic, very responsive and helpful, and had many good suggestions -- whether for somewhere to eat or a great beach to visit.

This apartment was ideal for our family, it was clean comfortable and tasteful. It had all the equipment we needed and the pool was clean and good fun. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Thankyou very much . We really liked the local area, the town nearby had good shops but the apartment was in a quiet location, Close to stables for a good fun horse ride. It was easy to explore the area of perithia where there are nice villages and some good tavernas, the local beach was close by which is great for relaxing or to hire a boat (very reasonable prices and quieter than other areas) Kassiopi is not far away which is nice for an evening meal or to explore / go shopping. We would return here if we came again to holiday in Corfu.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at this outstanding villa. Everything was excellently taken care of by Rania and Nikol, they really made us feel at home. Everything we needed was there. The villa and it's surroundings were absolutely clean, a housecleaner came by regularly and changed our towels, etc. Also, Rania's and Nikol's daddy came once a day to clean the pool, and we enjoyed our little daily chat with him. He is a true gentleman. He told us about the devastating wild fires around this area some months ago, and how he had to fight against the terrible flames and heat, covering his face with a wet t-shirt, sprinkling water all across the property with a garden hose. Luckily, both he and the villa remained unharmed. Another "inhabitant" (outside the villa) was a lovely cat that obviously liked us a lot. We always had some cat food for her :-))) The views are beyond words. Simply breathtaking! All in all, we would like to thank Rania and Nikol again for this fantastic and unforgettable week. Very nice villa to spend the holidays with friends or family. Place was clean, spacious and had everything u need for cooking and everyday activities. The pool was great addition for the time spent in the house.

Everything was exceptional !!! The host was so kind and helpful. Very clean house fully equipped. The view is breathtaking . Anything you need is at ten minute drive . Near the best beaches in Corfu .

David and Marieke are lovely hosts and they did a great job with the place. It feels like you went back in time, away from this modern world, loud and crowded. Peacefull place indoors and outdoors. The road up there is a little bumpy and quite long, but the destination is well worth it. We arrived late in the evening and after getting worried that we missed the road or we'd end in some abandoned place, we were surprised to find a welcoming cozy place like The Merchants' House. Entering the room was a total exciment for my 12 years old son to discover every corner if it and who bragged about being the one to say Yes to this accomodation, even if, on the map, it seemed far away from the beaches. Next morning, we were amazed with the "royal breakfast" and "royal service".🥰 We switched 3 accommodations during our 8 days vacation in Corfu, but The Merchants' was the best, the cleanest, the friendliest.🥰 Thank you, Marieke and David for making our stay sooooo so relaxing and exquisite.👑🎩
