Hotels with Parking in Tikal

You're deep in the middle of the jungle and they will turn off the electricity at various times of day to conserve fuel but this only adds to the experience which to us was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The location is the main benefit for visiting Tikal. We visited at sunrise which turned out to be an unforgettable experience and went back to the hotel for breakfast. The restaurant was well staffed and the breakfasts were plentiful. The reception staff service was outstanding really. All in all a perfect stay for our expectations and a perfect based for visiting the park multiple times in one day where we managed to do sunrise and sunset tours on the same day. The addition of birds and monkeys in the nearby trees was a pleasant surprise. Definitely more "jungle vibe" than Palenque in Mexico.

The hotel is in the perfect location for accessing the park via your guided trip or going alone - which we did both. We stayed for two nights in two different rooms. The King Suite was worth it in our opinion since we had a lot more space, but both rooms were amazing. There was comment about power and generators, but that was not an issue at all for us. In fact, if it hadn't been mentioned I would not have noticed. Rooms are well updated and the central areas provide a game room and a 'movie theater' was we didn't use but looked like a lot of fun. Front desk staff were very good and spoke sufficient English which helped us. I could fill in the details with my barely-sufficient Spanish. The restaurant and staff are stand outs. I was prepared for high prices, but I didn't think that was the case at all. Because we had been traveling awhile, we ordered Italian one night and American the next. The food and taste was very well on target with what those foods 'should' taste like. I was really surprised. Cheers to the kitchen and chef(s).

Stay inside Tikal National Park is a dream.
