This is such a special place. The building is incredible and we enjoyed looking through their book of photos showing the reconstruction from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Our room was adorable with wonderful old furniture. The homes in the surrounding area are fascinating and we enjoyed exploring the nature trails. The highlight for us was visiting the family of Zlatko Sucic for the love and effort they invested in preserving the cultural heritage of more than 700 exhibits. The house and museum is #34 heading southeast from here.

Very nice traditional house from this area, peace and quiet, stork nests in the neighborhood. I really like the host's dog, Garo, who kept me company in the garden. Restaurant is located 5 minutes walk from the house. Everything was very nice and I will come again.

Early spring visit. Wooden house with style. Comfortable and warm. Nice place, great people. We were treated with cake every day :). Lots of animals everywhere, domestic and wild.

Beautiful and extensive gardens with lots of functional out door space along the river. Very close to Cegoc. Bedrooms are all nicely equipped. A roaring fire was set in the fireplace to welcome us and made the whole place feel cozy. We were reluctant to stoke the fire or start another one but this is a great feature for others who would be comfortable tending a fire.

Whenever I travel I try to find some nice and authentic accommodation and this place was example of traditional Croatian architecture which we like so much. Beautiful wooden house, nice and pleasant hosts, delicious food makes of this place an exceptional experience. As well near by you can visit Park of nature Lonjsko polje and Village Cigoc see many storks and other nature wonders.

Very friendly and polite owners, providing relaxing family atmosphere for all of guests. Owners are willing to give you advice about location and potential activities. Nice and good cared for garden surrounds facilities. Place is also pet friendly. Isolated location at the end of a small village - quiet, peaceful. Quietness is only interrupted by local domestic and wild animals during the night, which also gives special countryside vibe. :) It is good that they offer food, especially breakfast and dinner, because there are only two restaurants located 15 to 20 minutes by car. Food was good, as well us domestic hard liquor. They have mosquito nets on windows and our room was mosquito free, but make sure you take your own repellents for sitting outside and going into nature. Room was rustical, traditional, clean and just like on the photos. Linen and towels were nice and clean. They have bikes for rent, which was nice experience - most of those small villages near river and swamps are located in a radius of approximately 20 km.
