Sleepy Brook Home is a nice, cosy house with a lovely big garden. Location is great if you want to visit the Plitvice lakes or just want to hike. The host was really amazing! She offered great hospitality, she had good recommondations for visiting the Plitvice lakes and she had a good restaurant recommondation. She even offered to prepare tea and coffee for us in the morning!

Príjemná pani domáca, privítala nás domácou pálenkou, izba bola čistá, posteľ kvalitná, dokonca boli pripravené aj papučky, všetko na úrovni, presne tak ako bolo v popise ponuky. Ubytovanie splnilo naše očakávania. Ak by sme niekedy v budúcnosti išli na Plitvické jazerá, určite využijeme túto ponuku. Odporúčam aj iným.

Anna, the host was an extraordinary lady who was welcoming us in the evening around 8 pm despite the fact that we couldn't inform them what time we would arrive due to technical issue with our mobile phone. 1. Although she doesn't speak German, nor English, she was able to communicate with us via google translator or with a smile. She provided each of us a welcome drinks. 2. She offered us to do our laundry even before I asked her. And she did it all by herself even if I told her I would do it by myself. 3. The house is spacious, quiet, and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to cook some simple noodles and pasta. 4. In front of the place, there is a camping place with a nice, cozy restaurant. Food was nothing special but our kids enjoyed the food there. With a 5 mins driving, there are more restaurants as well. Supermarkets are located in the next town, 5-10mins driving. Konzum in 3.8km away, we actually walked there for fun, which I wouldn't recommend. 5. In order to get to Plitvice Entrance 2, it takes about 10 mins driving from the place. Around the park, of course, there are more and more hotels/ apartments, but they were quite packed with each other. You won't have such peaceful and spacious view that Apartment Marjia has. 6. If you want to enjoy some peaceful, and comfortable walking the trails, I recommend to get there at 7am or 8am time slots, (as early as possible) because it gets extremely busy around lunch time. Overall, value for money, reasonable price, we, as a family with two pre-teen children, had a very peaceful stay at Apartment Marjia.

The cabin's serene, snow-covered setting by the river, complete with a cozy, beautifully decorated interior, a splendid BBQ area, and a relaxing hot tub, was elevated by the exceptional hospitality of the owners, making our stay truly magical.

Highly enjoyed this spacious house that is within driving distance from Plitvice Lakes. The host waited for us at check in and showed us around the house, how to make use the fireplace etc, and even gave some recommendations on what to visit in the area. He also provided some delicious homemade products, cheese, sausage, bread and buns which was really delicious! There was also yoghurt, sodas, wine and a selection of alcoholic drinks in the house.

Lovely place and owners, great place - 15min by car to plitvice lakes, restaurants and mercator in the next village, mountain stream, gooses, cows, dog, kittens... Agriculture at its best :) cool and cheap, clean&cozy

The host of this two-story, family bed and breakfast was extremely welcoming! The bedroom is private, and the dining room is communal. We were greeted with traditional homemade rakija liquor. The breakfast is optional, and we highly recommend it. The food was superb and plentiful. All the produce, dairy, charcuterie, fruit jams, honey, eggs, and cakes are homemade by the owners. This region is famous for its natural spring water, giving Vrelo (spring) deservedly its name. The bed was super-clean, large (I am 6'4") and comfortable. Nature is pristine, with many landmarks a short ride away, such as Plitvice Lakes, Grabovača cave, Kuterevo bear rescue, Smiljan - the birthplace of Nikola Tesla, Otočac, Sinac, river Gacka, etc.
