The best decision is to stay here. 1) The view is Amazing. Mount Agung is so majestic. Early in the morning, there was not a single cloud. 2) The rooms are super comfortable, bright and spacious 3) The staff is super accommodating. They found me a taxi to get back to the city and made sure my luggage was loaded. Walked 1,5 hours to the Besakih temple from the hotel. the scenery is just wonderful.

The view of our room was epic, you get to see mount agung and the jungle at the same time. Its very clean and quiet. The host Eka was absolutely amazing. We love our breakfast and dinners!!

Our stay at Kalamanthana absolutely made our trip! I can't really think of a single thing that could have been better. The hosts were amazing - helpful, friendly, accommodating - really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. They helped to organise transfers to and from the cottage, arranged scooter rental, made great recommendations of places to go that matched our preferences, and were all round just great to talk to as well. The location is in a small village just outside of Sidemen. If you don't rent a car or scooter it may not be ideal but for us it was absolutely perfect. The scenery all around is absolutely stunning and the cottage itself overlooks a beautiful mountain valley covered in tropical rainforest. We were looking for somewhere that was not full of tourists and feels like 'authentic Bali' and this was it. If you don't like the heavy traffic, roads full of stores selling tat, and instagramers on swings that a lot of the more well-known areas of Bali are full of then you will probably love staying here as much as we did. The inside of the cottage is beautifully done with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything has been carefully thought about and the place was spotless. Super comfortable bed, Netflix, great shower with endless hot water and good pressure, unlimited environmentally friendly drinking water, delicious breakfasts (vegan catered for), and the ability to make real coffee - what more could anyone want?! We would happily stay here again and have been recommending it to everyone we know. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay :)

Quiet, beautiful views. Very soft bedding, comfortable bed, nice clean towels. The views were amazing! Outdoor space to have breakfast (chairs, table), covered table with benches. Mini-stove and kettle, bottled water, tea/coffee/sugar. I also highly recommend Deliciouskitchen2020 across the street. It isn't just pizza, we tried donuts and rice/chicken dishes and both were amazing. Get the donuts the night before (12 mini are only 38K) if you would like them for breakfast at the place opens at 11 am.
