It has a restaurant inside, even though I didn’t eat. They let me check in. There was hot water unlimited - that’s a big plus in Indonesia- they rented out a motorcycle with a fairly reasonable price.

A very comfortable place to stay in Tana Toraja. Owner and staff are very helpful and engaging. Location is in quiet area of town with spacious modern room and sweeping balcony view on the 2nd floor, which has the best rooms. Good Torajan drip coffee in room. Breakfast is good with freshly made eggs, some Indonesian varieties, and good choice of fruits Restaurant menu is fairly limited but the cafe across from hotel makes excellent grilled fish There are plenty of guide service available at hotel at reasonable prices. An excellent choice for a good value hotel option.

Very nice and gentle family, beautiful views from the rooms, and delicious food. Everything was great. We also attended a ceremony they took us to, which was a really interesting experience. Thank you for sharing your culture and making us feel so welcome!

The owner is so friendly, helpful and kind. He answered all my questions about Ma’nene and gave me invaluable tips. Were it not for him I would have had to pay a lot for a guide. The Homestay has beautiful views of the mountains and the breakfast is great too. 100% recommend this place. For the price it’s a fantastic deal.

Hendrik is an excellent professional guid who took us to 4 days of touring the Toraja area. We went to fascinating local ceremonies including various parts of funerals and a wedding. We learned about the houses, villages and much more. Being a Torajan, Hendrik has tons of knowledge and deep understanding of all the costumes. He is very responsible and punctual with schedule. We stayed in his facility which was clean, comfortable bed, hot shower and a nice balcony. It is a bit far from town, which makes it quiet, but you need a grab if you want to go to dinner. Very good stay

Amazing place to stay! The owner Ibra is the most welcoming, helpful and friendly host we met. The homestay is very clean, rooms are spacious and breakfast is delicious. We would recommend this to anyone staying in Tana Toraja.

The previous review is clearly written by someone who does not know where he’s traveling. He should leave the European standard in Europe and learn how to travel. I’ve stayed in Wisma Toraja for almost one month, while learning about the torajan culture. I first saw this hotel In google, where it has a 4.2 out of 5 rating. This hotel has been more better than I thought. The rooms are very spacious, with great views of the rice terraces. You can tell that it’s been renovated not long ago. Comfortable bed and everything you need is in the room. Free water plus unlimited tea and coffee is also provided. Plus the owner and workers are very helpful and nice.

Loved the homestay so much extended by a few more nights. The family is adorable, there is a small op shop in front for your immediate needs. The host Paulus is amazing. Quiet location and great views of the rice paddy fields.
