This beautiful cottage was comfortable, warm, welcoming and well equipped with what we needed for cooking and spotlessly clean. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The shower was great. Billy and Rosanne were so welcoming and helpful. The outside space was just perfect for sitting out using the bbq and enjoying the good weather. The menagerie of animals were such a treat for the 5 yr old who did not want to leave at the end of the week, there were tears as we coaxed him into the car and promises of next summer. Close to wonderful days out, chill on the beach at Kilmore Quay, or crab fish off the pier, and plenty of shops nearby for groceries, cafe's, icecream and gifts. Johnstown Castle was well worth the visit nearby. Mary Barrys up the road, delicious food! Seashore explore, a local run class, was a wonderful way to spend time learning about the rockpools and sea life. And comfy time in the cottage with a book or having a little wander around the space outside enjoying the peace and lovely nature of the surroundings. Our stay at Cob Cottage was wonderful, it was quite literally a little slice of heaven for the week.

The host was extremely friendly and very helpful, she made fresh scones for breakfast and even got up early to provide a continental breakfast as we had an early ferry. We were travelling by motorcycles and there was hard standing for the bikes and it was very secure and safe. The room for 3 of us was a great size and there was even a free minibus service to the local pub/restaurant which was a bonus, I would not hesitate in recommending the B&B.

We received a lovely welcome and the host was very helpful with information etc the room was very cosy and had everything we required with bathroom, the area was quiet. It was only a short drive to Rosslare and Wexford.

Beautiful house and garden, would definitely stay again, highly recommend. Caroline was very friendly and attentive and made sure we were all comfortable and showed us where everything was, nothing was too much trouble, the house had everything we could possibly need. The house was immaculate itself and so cosy. The rooms were immaculate, beds were extremely comfortable. Very relaxing to sit out in the beautiful garden. A fantastic place for a relaxing getaway, beautiful landscape, would definitely return.

    Great secluded location,but yet only minutes from anywhere, including 4 minutes from fantastic quite beach.Great hosts Jack & Patricia were great for local advice etc & left fire wood every other day at the front door.house was cosy & clean & had everything you need for a comfortable stay.great WiFi,ample parking,huge gardens,generous hosts etc,honestly a perfect place for a quite break or holiday with the kids.Ticked all the boxes for in house amenities too.will definitely be back.
