The property is unbelievable!! The hosts did such an amazing job taking care of every possible need we could have ! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. Also would wish to have more bathrooms and/ or separate toilets considering it is a 4 bedroom house. We all had to time our mornings to use the bathrooms and toilets. Have to comment on the beds !! They were soo comfortable and the pillows were phenomenal. Felt like home beds! It was the first place to be able to sleep soundly after several days of touring Iceland. The location is very tricky. we ended up going to 311 bifrost to find a house but found a hotel guest there who reminded us of the possibility of a differenct location. The rules were very clear address. We had forgotten about the manual that Robert sent us 🙈.

Honestly, we loved everything here! The staff was wonderful: helpful, friendly, and available without hovering. The location is beautiful. Wide open spaces with sheep and cows and a good morning rooster. We could even see swans across the street. Our room was cozy and comfortable. Our dinner was stop-us-in-our-tracks beautiful, and it tasted even better. Dinner truly was one of the best meals we have ever had. Don't even get me started on breakfast. My only concern is that I will compare every breakfast for the rest of my life to the one I had at Hraunsnef, knowing no breakfast will ever come close. Every inch of this location has been tended to and cared for. Truly lovely lively lovely.

The friendly hotel staff helped point out areas nearby the hotel that I could go to see the Northern Lights better. The dinner was great, very classy, and the breakfast had a good variety.

This place is a true gem. A small hotel in a European style, where every detail reflects taste and care. The interiors are stylish and beautiful, creating a sense of comfort and calm. The room was spacious, with an amazing view from the window — absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise. Everything is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. You feel it right away: nothing unnecessary, just harmony and comfort. The service was excellent — warm, attentive, and unobtrusive. The dinner especially touched us — light and homemade: flavorful soup, fresh bread, and a slice of delicious homemade cake. It all felt so kind, so genuine. This is the kind of place you want to return to — not just to relax, but to feel that special atmosphere of care and quiet all over again.

The property was wonderful. well equipped kitchen, enough space to put your stuff. self check in and check out. you can watch and even pet the animals on the farm. And on top of all Borgarnes is a very interesting and beautiful place. though the property is a few kilometers away. its a must visit.

One of the coolest places I've ever stayed! Ragna & Sigbjörn were so kinda and hospitable. I also woke up in the middle of the night and looked out the window and caught the Aurora borealis directly over the farm. I loved seeing the horses and playing with the dogs. The cabin was warm and cozy with plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again.
