Beautiful location, isolated and quiet but still less than 10 Min drive to cute town where we had dinner. We liked the sheep visitors. Very new and clean. Comfortable bed. Had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen.

One of those places you walk into and instantly feel at home, knowing you made the right choice. The guesthouse is full of character and thoughtfulness. Monica, the wonderful host, has truly thought of everything. Her experience in hospitality really shines through- from the spotless cleanliness and order to the little notes and labels that make everything feel easy and welcoming. The check-in was clear, simple, and completely stress-free, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. There’s a warm, authentic atmosphere here, yet it’s kept at the standard of a hotel. On top of that, the location is perfect. Stykkishólmur is such a beautiful little town, with colorful houses, a charming harbor, and a small hilltop offering a lovely viewpoint over the town. Property was on the way to Snaefellsjokull National Park fairly well situated for a first night stop after morning arrival in Reykjavik. No restaurants in immediate area, so either dine as you drive through Borgarnes or some place closer to the park. Beautiful views.

Welcoming guesthouse, modern, unique with its lovely yellow paint in the middle of the village. Good breakfast options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a nice cot for our little one. The shower was nice, the room is clean and well serviced every day (something increasingly rare). Free parking just next to the entrance. Nice outdoor space to enjoy the midnight sun.

Excellent location - close to everything - newly decorated room - friendly service - free parking - wonderful view from the hall on first floor - even a bar open on evenings. For dinner I recommend booking ahead a table at the Sjavarpakkhusid restaurant - just a 2 minutes walk - maybe the best seafood Iǘe ever had! Leaving town - don´t forget your three wishes at Helgafell (Holy Mountain)!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Clean room and amenities. Snacks, coffee, tea, milk etc... are free.. wonderful. Also the location is nearby to mini market, fuel pumps, electric csr charger and main road. Got 3 free parking lot inside the premises . Highly recommended to stay
