The property itself and room are beyond amazing! When travelling it’s always difficult to find a place that feels comfortable and feels like home. Casale del Cantico felt like home. The host (and their cute dog) are the most kind and helpful people you will meet in Italy, will definitely go back! (Ps: the breakfast will blow your mind, all homemade bread, cookies and other bakeries!)

I can't really say anything about the staff because this was a private guest house. I thought the whole experience was exceptional. Parking for three cars but not so good for motorbikes because of deep gravel. The room was fantastic, the fittings and fixtures were very modern, there was a well equipped kitchen diner on the ground floor. Even a hot tub for an additional fee. I couldn't think of any faults with this guest house.

Modern apartment close to the town centre offering a beautiful view of Lago Maggiore. Well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The host, Anna, was helpful and friendly. Would definitely consider going back again.

It was close to the centre. We enjoyed the cave spa. It had a warm pool with different kinds of jets at different places of the pool. Hot Shower in the cave nook had eucalyptus essence, sauna steam and snow cabin.

This hotel has been recently renovated and the decor and comforts throughout are amazing. I stayed there in 2019 and while I loved it then, it was quite dated. The renovations and new additions have turned it into a most luxurious hotel. There were always beds available by the pool during our stay, and a new poolside bar was about to open the day after we left. The views from the garden/pool area out onto the lake and Borromean islands, are stunning. It is a 10 minute walk into the centre of Stresa by the lakeside promenade past other beautiful hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel. I hope I have the pleasure of returning some day.

The view of the lake from this apartment was delightful. It is located around 25 minutes walk from the ferry terminal but is in a very quiet area away from the main roads which are very busy on weekends. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with all the necessary items needed for cooking.

Mara and Roberto have a wonderful holiday home and it was lovely to meet them. The apartment and grounds are meticulously looked after and in great condition. As a family we enjoyed taking trips in the car and found it a good base. Our children loved the swimming pool for the afternoon heat! The apartment and grounds exceeded our expectations. Lago Maggiore is so chilled!
