Thank for for the wonderful hospitality. The country home was clean and comfortable and my children enjoyed being able to j redact with the animals on the property. The host made us feel welcome and comfortable in every way. I would recommend staying here.

Anna Maria was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. During the week we stayed, we experienced some amazing local summer festivals and really got a feel for the authentic lively atmosphere. We also spent time at the beautiful beach, just a short 20 minute drive away.

AnnaMaria met us personally to hand off the keys, and show us all the features of the home. Everything was clean and new, they have recently refurbished everything. She provided juice & water in the fridge, coffee, and some special treats. Her family visited us the next morning to say hello, and be sure we had enjoyed our stay. They were delightful hosts! She also recommended local restaurants, and shops with authentic local products. The town of Bernalda was a great place for us to break our driving journey from Puglia back to Napoli. It is an authentic Italian town, without any sign of tourism... walkable, friendly, and scenic located up on a ridge. Not too far from the beaches, or from Matera. It would be a great quiet place to stay a few days, and explore the area. I wish we had more time! We would certainly return to this property if we can swing another Italy trip in the future.
