Antonio is the consumate host. I arrived early in the rain. He came to fetch me by car, and welcomed me proudly into his beautiful home. From providing me with a cool beer and a bottle of wine, he even offered to drive me to the supermarket to stock up for the following day. Then to top it all, he realised I did not want to eat in a fancy restaurant, and so he made me some delicious pasta himself! One of the best hosts I have met yet, in a fabulous place. Very highly recommended to anyone, not only pilgrims.
