We had the best time! Such a beautiful part of Italy, so green and unspoilt. The accommodation is perfectly situated for exploring the countryside and pretty little towns and the sea is easily reached too. Lovely breakfast, gorgeous swimming pool with fabulous views, friendly dog pottering around - what more could you ask? The owner and everyone there were all so friendly and lovely and our room was kept spotlessly clean, with great aircon too (thank goodness in that heat!) Thank you Gianni and everybody - we loved it!

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The breakfasts are delicious, and Letizia is more than happy to provide their farm eggs (the best I've ever tasted) or meats and cheeses as well as a traditional sweet breakfast. Their restaurant is open Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday lunch, and I'd really recommend eating there even if you're not staying. The rooms are a very generous size, and immaculately clean; also, the bed is VERY comfortable. The mountain views are spectacular, and there are resident dogs, cats and donkeys. It really is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We are learning Italian (slowly) however Gabriella and Giulia are more than happy to help out with the language. The dining room is also available at other times of the day, which helped us as we were there for a week. We will definitely return.

I have no other word than EXCELLENT and EXCELLENT again. I did not expect so beautiful nature and so kind people. All time the owner was available to advice us with purchases of local products (Pecorino cheese, wine, dried ham, home made pasta, olive oil) and with tips for beautiful antique Abruzzo mountain cities and villages. With Gran Sasso in neigborhood this was mine most beautiful holiday. I strongly recommend this place for tourists, hikers, mountain bikers. Even for families with children as this area is quiet and nor crowded. The accomodation itself is fully equipped, even with fireplace and enough wood. Large terrace with nice wiews forces you to have breakfests here and you are unable to start your trip before lunch😇😇 Thank you Giancarlo, I really do hope I will return here.

The location of Le Ginestre is fantastic! Milva, Gianni, and Gianmarco were warm and hospitable hosts. We had a wonderful time with them! Just FYI, the host family only speaks Italian, so make sure you can speak some Italian before you choose to stay with them.
