We are grateful to have found such a fabulous place! The beautifully renovated apartment is like a hidden pearl in the middle of an ancient stone village on a slope with an incredibly beautiful view of the high snow-covered mountain peaks above green meadows. Birds sing in the silence! We are delighted with the interior - stone and wood, traditional ceramic tiles with ornaments on the floor, play with light, built-in cupboards, modern heating, and cleanliness. The kitchen accommodated us and made us cook amazing meals with produce bought from local country markets. We couldn't wait to get home each day and sit down at the wooden table to discuss the day's experiences. You could catch a train from a nearby town to hop on to Brig, Switzerland or you could travel 60km to Ascona, again in Switzerland. You can visit nearby authentic Italian lakeside towns. The connection with the hosts made us feel them like friends. We highly recommend Appartamento completamente ristrutturato!

excellent stay😊😊😊😊😊 in a perfectly equipped and welcoming house (we LOOOVED the fireplace in the evenings!✨) in one of the most beautiful and still authentic regions in the north of italy! easily accessible by car, but off the beaten track, surrounded by beautiful sights and nature and lots of options for walks and exploring the region and its villages and hidden gems (and longer hikes if you want), and yet many other different villages, little towns and also more 'touristy' places like the different lakes in the region are close-by (including the valais region/switzerland😀). thank you valeria and luigi, the best hosts you can imagine, for everything. we will definitely be back one day for another walk with you as our guides through the different little villages and the beautiful landscapes of the montecrestese region! highly recommended!👍👍👍

The bed mattress and pillows were by far the best we had during our 10 day trip to Italy. The apartment was nice and cosy and very very clean. We checked in late but the owner was very helpful and gave us all instructions on how to get in the apartment and also there was free parking! Owner was also very kind and allowed us to check out a bit later as we arrived late the previous evening. Highly recommended apartment! would have stayed longer if we had more time

Great views over mountains, river and town from balcony and gardens. Very comfortable beds and air conditioning helped for the hottest night. As mentioned in the description, it is a lovely short walk from the car between some old houses adding to the rustic feel. We visited lots of places and swam in lakes and rivers, so another good option on hot days. It is a little out of town, so not possible to walk to shops or to eat out, so we did plan our days to limit how often we needed to drive up the winding hill.

Nice, freshly-decorated apartments with everything what is needed - comfortable bed, TV, big fridge, dishes, cutlery, stove. If you want to cook yourself, it this place it is more than comfortable. If you don't, there are a lot of good cafes in the neighborhood. Hosts were nice and helpful, they recomended some places that are worth visiting, and in general answered all accomodation related questions really fast. There is also free parking available.
