Extremely serene and gentle town. Really easy to go for morning walks to local temples and shrines in Japanese countryside. Hosts were very accommodating and welcoming when our wifi didn't work. They provided fresh fruit, bread, milk and juice for the stay which we are pleasantly surprised about.

I loved that it was a private room and seperate from other rooms. The place was very quiet, there is a nearby drugstore, bakery, grocery store and bus station which makes it very nice. The place alone was very clean, the three meals provided over my stay was very nice too.
