Tim and Naoko are fantastic. The facilities are great and they prepare a delicious breakfast. You basically feel like you are in your own living room hanging out with old friends. Particularly as a cyclist, it is ideal because of Tim's cycling background and experience. If you want to ride the famous Nakasendo cycling route, there is no better place to start as it is literally outside his door. And, they rent out superb bikes for the journey either guided by a professional guide or self guided.

Renée and Motoyasu were so helpful and made every effort to set the house up so that our family would be comfortable. They provided a separate small futon for our baby, toys and books and a toilet seat for our toddler, and helped us set up the barbeque outside.
