The staff are the nicest people. The futon is heated and has a duvet that is like sleeping under a cloud. The view is beautiful especially at night. The breakfast is traditional Japanese and fantastic. The temple up the street is amazing and best of all it's never crowded. There are a couple of good restaurants a short walk away. And every night we used the bath which was so relaxing. We just loved the experience.

Excellent traditional Japanese ryokan experience, for those looking for one! It is family owned, and they are extremely friendly and nice. You get to stay in a pretty spacious traditional Japanese style room, wear kimono and sleep on the tatami while still having the comfort of a private bathroom. Breakfast is also prepared by them, and for those who enjoy Japanese food, having your breakfast traditionally prepared by a local is an amazing experience! The place is in a quiet residential neighborhood, with easy and surprisingly fast access to the center (Dotonbori) via public transportation. It was by far the best experience is Osaka for us, and one of the most authentic we had in Japan! Would definitely stay here again if we were going to Osaka!

I've been to a Ryokan before, 40 years ago. I came to this one with my adult daughter. The location is very unassuming. It's essentially in a suburb or exurb of Osaka. From the train station, it was a fairly long walk to get there and we ended up waiting at the wrong entrance. But once we got things sorted, it was the peaceful Ryokan experience I remembered fro the past. The owners are a husband and wife, and they are darling! We had to use Google translate a lot, but we got along well. The first day was my birthday and their restaurant wasn't open while we stayed there so the owner drove us to the train station so we could go to a restaurant in town. Then she picked us up when we got back. The room was a tatami mat room with a toilet and sink. The bath is to be taken in the onsite onsen. We were given yukata to wear to the onsen and it felt so authentic and relaxing! We had planned to decompress during our stay, which we were able to do nicely - it was so relaxing there. There is a convenience store a block away and a couple of good restaurants a few blocks farther. There is a large, interesting park dedicated to International Peace that we walked to. When it was time for us to leave, they drove us to the train station again. I don't know if they do this for all their clients. We seemed to be the only ones staying there, but it made the experience so memorable. I would definitly stay here again!

It was a wonderful place to stay as we wanted to stay away from downtown area, and easy to go to Osaka and Kyoto. This location was great for us to do just that! Quiet neighborhood. The surrounding is very calm. Close to the railway station, local restaurants, supermarket, and nice cake shop. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed.

Staying at Natomi was a great experience and the one I was intentionally looking for - a traditional Japanese inn, with tatami floors and inner courtyard, to enjoy with a morning coffee. The host was great, and made me feel welcome and at home; even made a little gift for my birthday! On check-in they explained their design concept and the work done to bring this place to life, and you could really feel how much attention to details they’ve put. Amenities were great, all brand new. I also went with a Japanese style breakfast option, which was very very good! Commute is easy: the place is close to a station, and it only takes 3 stops to get from there to Ikoma, and then it’s an fast connection to major cities and attractions. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!
