Absolutely stunning ryokan experience. Location was secret but accessible. Facilities/room was amazing. We had a private bath and it was just so peaceful. We also booked a private onsen time because I have tattoos and the private onsen was breathtaking. The kaseki dinner and breakfast were amazing (though a little intimidating, so maybe know a bit about traditional Japanese food before trying - we were beginners and felt like were were out of our depth).

The room was insane. Wide open floor plan, free beverages, stunning view, outdoor onsen bath connected to the balcony and bathroom, and not to mention a glass of champagne by the staff to welcome us for our stay. Food was exceptional, as was the staff who came to serve us in our room for dinner and breakfast the next day. There's also an arcade, lounge, gift shop, and a golf simulator on the lobby floor.

5 star hospitality, as the staff couldn't do enough for me. The Onsen both inside and outside(roof top) was health & wellness at the best. The breakfast each morning was new, delicious, and healthy. Takarazuka City is elegant with cultural sights to enjoy. Just strolling about was wonderful. I will be returning to Hotel Wakamizu. Domo arigatogozaimasu!
