The staff and the place was awesome

Great location, easy access to the train station. Clean hotel and rooms. Great sound proofing (couldn't hear our friends next door), easy check in and check out.

Everything is good, especially the price is cheap

It was very clean. The staff was cordial. I like that it had a public bath, so my friend and I could relax after a very long road trip. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good too.

The breakfast was exceptionally tasty! Rooms were quiet and the staff was very helpful.

Comfortable bed & new facilities

The Ekai is a winner. The facility is very new and clean. It is centrally located close to the Toyohashi train station, restaurants, and a large grocery store. Mr. Watanabe, the owner, is super friendly, speaks English, and often is in the common area in the evening conversing with guests. Plenty of hot water in the showers, on site laundry facilities, bikes to ride for exploring the city are other plusses. Did I mention the well stocked kitchen, and new induction range, perfect for those who like to cook? I cooked my own omelettes each of the four days I was there. Besides the grocery store nearby, there are plenty of convenience stores with other things to cook or put in the microwave. I will stay here again if I am again in Toyohashi.

Location, cleanlines, and staff attention

the house was perfect. Parking was within house area. Nice view of fuji san

The views of the city were amazing. Make sure to book a higher floor for the best views. There is plenty to do inside and outside the hotel.

The staff were so kind and friendly. I didn't have to use Japanese because someone there spoke English. Good breakfast, coffee and tea service is also available until midnight. The room and bathroom were spacious. Very close to Daiso and a drugstore.
