A very beautiful hotel with stunning views. We loved every moment of our stay. The food was amazing, and everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Sri Lanka.

The staff was very nice and I was so happy that they have a dryer after all my clothes got wet during the hike.

Our stay in Green Valley was memorable. It's close to Haputale and the main attractions and waterfalls. There is a bus stand just right in front of the hotel. There are nice and affordable rooms in the jungle. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. The food was awesome as well.

From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless. Waking up to breakfast overlooking the hills was a highlight of our trip.

Loved our stay here. Very relaxed and friendly. Food is gorgeous too. Would recommend highly but make sure you book a room with a view. I thought I had but I didn't so I was disappointed.

This was our favourite place in all of Sri Lanka. Haputale is absolutely beautiful and authentic, barely touched by tourism. The hotel is set in beautiful peaceful gardens with a lovely view, 15 minutes walk from the main centre. Sam and his mother are both very welcoming and interesting to talk to. The hotel room was spacious and with a balcony, and the bed was large and comfortable. Downstairs is a really cosy lounge area, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

The panoramic views of the misty mountains and tea gardens from our room were breathtaking. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the entire property has a serene, calming vibe.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful about local areas of interest. Their dinners (Sri Lankan-style) were delicious.

A great accommodation near the Haputale centre - the host was very nice and friendly, greeted us with a tea, the dinner we had there was one of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka (as well as the breakfast) and he shared with us plenty of tips for the local trips! The room had everything we needed (and a hot shower!) - when we arrived it was quite cold in Haputale, so take this into account when heading to this area (we appreciated extra layers we had with us).

The family is the sweetest, will take good care of you. Viraj is an amazing host, we spent rainy days playing caroom and cards together and took good care of us. Thanks man! Farina did the best cooking class for us, with amazing price btw Dinners are super good and worthy, they do really good rice and curry Views were amazing You will feel at home, really great atmosphere

Wow, what a beautiful and stunning location up in this tea plantation. We stayed in the one-bed bungalow which was wonderful and very authentic. The sunset from the terrace was a view to remember! Raja our butler was exceptional and his service along with Ravi was great. We had breakfast and a superb evening meal of many different types of curry. This was at an additional cost but well worth it!

Super nice guesthouse with very friendly host and excellent breakfast. Nicely located, close to the center, with great view from the rooms and the dining room. I strongly recommend this place.

Rio Homestay was a welcoming, convenient, safe place to stay while on the Pekoe Trail. Our host was very welcoming and greeted us with a cuppa tea which we appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect with restaurants two minutes walk away and the train station a 5 minute walk. The perfect find!

Beautiful property, outstanding views, excellent hospitality and service, awesome breakfast. The host was very welcoming and caring. He gave us lots of suggestions for things to do and also organised a tuk tuk driver for us. It’s a short walk to the train station and eating places. Any questions or concerns were immediately attended to. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this homestay and we would happily stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at Silanway Holiday Inn last night. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with all the facilities needed for a relaxing stay. The service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haputale. Thank you for the warm hospitality and memorable stay!
