We spend quite some time in Polhena/Madiha and @ justanotherguesthouse. And this is definitely the best place to stay. Even on the hottest days you can cool down at the balcony. There you get shadow plus the wind of the coast. Plus the beautiful view on ocean and palm trees. Any place of the accommodations has a super chilled atmosphere. It’s lovely furnished compared to what we experienced at other stays. Not too much not too less. The kitchen has all you need. The hammock on your own beach also a favourite place to hang around. The hosts are just more than lovely. And definitely able to help you out with anything u might want to know or to have.

Everything was perfect! Lolo and Supun are amazing hosts who help with everything. Breakfast was tasty and the kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals by ourselves as well. The location was ideal and close to both Madiha and Polhena beaches. The environment was really quiet at night. And on top of all were the pool with really warm water and long enough for proper swimming, and the rooftop which had amazing view to all directions and was great to share some beers at night

Everything was brand new. And super clean. The manager was really nice and pushing social projects in the area. I can really recommend the place. There is a beautiful skatepark around the corner if you are interested in such things.

If you're looking for a nice, quiet holiday this is the place to be. Spacious room with the best view of the sea. The Sri Lankan breakfast was so so good...with a view. Must visit.

I stayed at Salty Garden for a couple of nights and I loved the vibe there (will even extend my stay). The stuff is super helpful and the included breakfast was amazing. They let you choose everyday from several different options. The place is on a quite location, surrounded by a big garden. The main area with restaurants and cafes can be easily reached by bicycle or scooter within 10 to 15 min. If you want to take surf lessons Isu, the owner will take you to the best spots with his tuktuk.
