This place is amazing. Little quiet paradise near busy Arugam Bay. You can enjoy walks along the beach or sunsrise on the beach, relax in hamaka. We loved our stay here. The cottages are so nice and cute, the beach is right next to it and hotel manager Mureli took amazing care of us. He helped us with our tuktuk trouble, he is amazing chef, the food was so delicious. He did his job perfectly and went even beyond. If we'll return to Sri Lanka we will definitely pay this place a visit. Probably the most beautiful place we stayed in Sri Lanka. And for amazing price.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodnest. The rooms are simple but nicely done – clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. They might not be super fancy, but for the price (especially compared to other places in the area), they’re genuinely such a good find. The location is peaceful, and the setting has a really nice, natural feel to it. But what made the experience even better was the friendly and helpful staff – everyone we spoke to was kind and welcoming, which added such a nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for a solid, no-fuss place that still feels well cared for and has a bit of charm, Woodnest is definitely worth it. Can u change this a little

This homestay is operated by the most beautiful family and we honestly can say they set the most exceptionally high standard for Aragum Bay accommodation. We rented 5 rooms and everyone felt the same. Jaz and his family were so helpful with everything from money changing to advising on tuk tuk prices, arranging drivers and any other questions we had. They went above and beyond to help us and nothing was a problem. Even making a birthday cake for one of our group. The rooms are immaculate - so clean with everything we needed. Location is perfect and is in the middle of everything, steps to the beach and even has an attached very well stocked supermarket. Our stay here was such a delight and we really look forward to coming back here. If we could rate this accommodation 10 stars, we absolutely would.

The owners here are fabulous hosts, and very willing to help with great local knowledge. Younger foreign couple, with fluent english. Rooms are very clean with good working fan, and mosquito net for sleeping. AC option if needed. Excellent location, and right in the center to walk everywhere. Two minutes to the beach. Excellent value - Highly recommended!!!
