Wake up and enter the white grassland snow country. Ulaanbaatar is a vibrant young city, but it is also congested, and the streets are full of Toyotas honking their horns. The cantaloupe that I carried all the way from Chinese to Ulaanbaatar was ripe and shared with the landlord Bolod and his family, as well as the Russian brother. Feel a melon that makes sense. Bolod and his wife were very welcoming, friendly and kind. They all speak English, Russian and other languages. Bolod also had his son drive and took me to see the statue of Genghis Khan and visit the local herders. The steppe world is completely covered with heavy snow, and yurts can be inhabited. The newborn lamb is dressed up, the dog is more like a steppe mastiff with its long hair, the mare's milk wine is super strong, and I am wearing a cashmere Mongolian robe. It's so warm. I wanted to go to Mongolian dinner in the evening, but my Russian roommate treated me to frozen lard and potato offal, saying it was a traditional Russian delicacy. I had a very good memory here.

Hotel's location was centric, but a bit tricky to reach since I had to walk through small streets. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable! The staff lady was very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I wish I could have stayed longer!

There are some grocery supermarkets near by. It will take you 20-25 minutes to reach Ulaanbaatr’s centre on foot. I recommend to visit an interesting Mongolian style clothing store “IVEEL” at Ard Ayush Avenue. Just around the corner from the appartment.

Quiet and peaceful place, almost the city center, hotel in a converted apartment. You live as if at home. Cleanliness, low cost, and comfort make this option almost ideal for me. If I return to Ulaanbaatar, I will choose this accommodation option.

Tenan is very helpful host, he is willing to help support if you need help with the logistics or any. He can speak english fluently so it is easier for us to communicate. Rooms are nice and clean and it is very good with a family stay.

Apartment is perfect to stay with a big company. Nearby is a few restaurants and big EMart. Money exchange in Flower hotel in 5 minutes walk. Very helpfull and friendly owner and his mom. Big thanks to them!!!
