Recently stayed in the Junior Suite (Room 404) for 2 nights and overall, I genuinely enjoyed my experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel already gave a more elevated and luxurious feeling compared to many local hotels in Malta. The location was easy to find, staff greeted us warmly and professionally, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome with herbal tea and warm towels, a very elegant touch that immediately set the tone. Parking was manageable despite nearby construction works, and thankfully we found a space easily enough. Check in itself was pleasant, although there was a small interruption during the process where another guest issue was prioritised midway through our conversation. The room also took a little longer than expected to be ready, around 15 to 20 minutes total waiting time, which initially made me slightly concerned about whether everything had been fully prepared beforehand. That said, once we entered the room, the first impression was beautiful. The Junior Suite itself was aesthetically stunning, spacious, private and peaceful. I absolutely loved the warm country chic minimalist style throughout the hotel. The terrace was one of my favourite parts, very relaxing, private, and with almost no noise disturbance from surrounding rooms. One thing I also appreciated is the location itself. Although the hotel feels very quiet, private and tucked away from busy areas, it is still only around a 10 minute walk from two of Malta’s most beautiful and well known historical areas, Mdina and Rabat. This makes it ideal for guests who want both relaxation and the opportunity to explore nearby culture, cafés and sightseeing while still returning to a peaceful environment with spectacular views. Another feature that genuinely stood out to me was “The Nook” available on Level 4. I am not sure whether this concept is available on other floors as well, however for our floor it was such a thoughtful and welcoming additional space.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is located in a perfectly restored historic building in Rabat. All the details are beautiful and we felt like walking into a museum as we walked through the door. The room was beautifully decorated as well, with enough room for our luggage. There was a AC/heater, and a dehumidifier so the room never got cold, despite us visiting in winter. The bathroom looked gorgeous and came with a strong, warm shower. The bed was also comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Most days we had to order in advance (from a slightly changing menu) but when there were a lot of other guests there was an excellent buffet instead. Finally, our hosts were some of the friendliest hosts we have ever met, very communicative and making sure we were having an excellent stay. We would go back just to stay with them again. Cookies and fruit were left in our room every day. We’ve had excellent dinners at the Grotto Tavern (the experience is in a 2000-year old cave) and Townhouse no.3. Reservations are recommended. The historic Mdina citadel is within walking distance.

The location could not have been better - we were in the heart of the old town of Rabat, next to many great bars and restaurants, plus a 5 minute walk to the walled city of Mdina. Thanks to some hot tips from the owner, we were able to have a great stay. Breakfast was excellent - it was included in the price and served at a local Cafe (Ta 'Doni) across the road from the apparment (10m away) with vouchers.

A very friendly welcome at a brilliantly central location - just across the square from the gates into Mdina. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful about leaving cases. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we took there was also vey good, although with so many superb restaurants in Rabat, we only took advantage of this once. The room was very comfortable and quiet, despite the central location. Staying at the Pointde Vue means being able to see Mdina before and after the crowds.

The contact with Joe was really kind, he waited at the appartment when I arrived and showed me everything. The house is wonderful, had everything I needed for my stay and in the area around are some lovely restaurants. I always found a free parking space within a minute to walk. So I really enjoyed the time.

The location is amazing, 5 minutes walking from the Mdina, bus stop just in front of the door, markets and restaurants just beside (3 min walking). The view from both terraces are breathtaking, we used to enjoy the sunrise every morning, and watch the star every night (sharing some photos from the terrace). The neighborhood is quiet, good to relax. The apartment has a full kitchen with all that you need to cook by yourself if you want. Air Conditioning in the rooms are very useful after sunny days.
